About Ecotourism and Wildlife Mgt
The course will introduce students with the concept of ecotourism and wild life management; ecological carrying capacity of natural destinations; explains principles of ecotourism; including its ecological and cultural sustainability; its education and interpretation; contribution of ecotourism to local communities and conservation; the potential of Ethiopia to develop eco tourism destinations will also be emphasized. Moreover, this course focuses on the concepts, issues, impacts, management, marketing and planning aspects of ecotourism and wild life, future issues and prospects for ecotourism and planning for tourism in national parks and protected areas.
