The course of clinical psychology integrates science, theory and practice to understand, predict and alleviate maladjustment, discomfort as well as to promote human adaptation, adjustment and personal development. Clinical psychology focuses on the intellectual, biological, psychological, social and behavioral aspects of human functioning across life span. The course includes main theories, research approaches and intervention strategies of clinical psychology. It is intended to expose the students to the basic concepts and issues in psychology and psychotherapy for more advanced courses in the clinical domain.
