Introduction; definition of ergonomics, interface between human beings, machines, and work environment; designs of job, work place, production system, equipment and their selection for usability & simplicity; hazard analysis; manual material handling principles; environmental conditions and stress (fatigues) on human performance; noise & color, physiological functions; safety (fire, compressed gases, electrical, explosives and construction) and use of personnel protective equipment.
