In this course, students will acquire and utilize the skills involved in conducting and reporting empirical research in psychology. These skills include forming of hypotheses, designing research to test those hypotheses, analyzing the resulting data, and writing a complete report of the research results following APA guidelines. The course is designed to foster and evaluate the student’s fundamental understanding of psychology as an empirical research science.
