This course is designed to introduce students to basic concepts, theories and perspectives of Alternative Dispute Resolution mechanisms. It explores the process and dimensions of ADR, namely, Negotiation, Mediation and Arbitration. It also discusses comparative advantage ADR and finally constitutionality of ADR and customary dispute resolution methods in Ethiopia.
