The course enables the student understand how mechanical engineering is integrated with computer control and electronics. This includes: • Modeling common systems and identifying their responses to various inputs • Sensing (using sensors), Conditioning (using op-amps, transistors, …), and Acquiring (using ADC, filters, …)signals • Actuating (moving, pressurizing, …) common systems • Controlling electromechanical systems using PLC or simple passive circuits
