The course will focus on specific issues of current research and issues in the field of peace and development studies. It will analyze issues in development and peace; regional and world peace and its threats, development practice and its challenges, conflicts and modes of conflict management. Emphasis will be made on current and topical problems and issues, especially a series of student seminars on selected thematic, international, regional and domestic issues. Students will be required to do extensive readings, participate in assigned projects and class presentation.
